Abstract

The concept and implementation of edupreneurship in the world of education in various levels
of education is recognized as very important in Indonesia, especially at the level of higher
education. This is because the number of educated unemployed people in Indonesia is still high,
lack of independence and low competitiveness of college graduates.Therefore, many of the
tertiary institutions provide entrepreneurial skills through edupreneurship in order to shape the
character of graduates who are able to create jobs, not just looking for work. The purpose of
this study was to analyze the effect of edupreneurship on entrepreneurial interests and the
competitiveness of college graduates both directly and indirectly. The research method used is
the survey research method involving 50 respondents who are graduates of Amikom
Yogyakarta University, namely university that implement elements of entrepreneurship or
edupreneurship in their curriculum. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to
respondents. Data analysis was carried out using path analysis. The results of the study prove
that partially edupreneurship has a positive and significant effect on the interest of
entrepreneurial college graduates, edupreneurship has a positive and significant effect on the
competitiveness of college graduates. The interest of entrepreneurship is able to mediate the
influence of edupreneurship on increasing the competitiveness of college graduates.
